PREFER at Patients as Partners Europe

Stakeholders from industry, patient advocacy organisations and policy makers came together at Patients as Partners Europe 2019. Couldn’t make it? Speaker presentations are now available online, and PREFER’s Berkeley Phillips was there. Find out what he has to say.

Patients as Partners Europe was an opportunity for organisations to learn from each other and share best practice. One of PREFER’s consortium members, Berkeley Phillips (Pfizer UK Medical Director), was there.

“Establishing partnerships with the patient community early on in the medical product life cycle is key for enabling patient engagement in developing and assessing the value of medicines. Within a pharmaceutical company, there needs to be a clear strategy and vision for patient centricity. To make this come to life requires organisational leadership at country, regional and global level”, says Berkeley Phillips, in his presentation with Jenny Preston (NIHR) on driving a patient-centric culture across multiple departments and teams.

On the Patients as Partners Europe website you can dive deeper into Berkeley Phillips and Jenny Preston’s presentation, or find out what other speakers had to say. All speaker presentations are now available online.
